WUB Career Counselling Center Organizes Seminar on “English: A Journey from Classroom to Career”

The Career Counselling Center of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a seminar titled “English: A Journey from Classroom to Career” on October 05, 2026, at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, WUB, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Professor Puranjay Biswas, Guest Faculty, Department of English, WUB, conducted the seminar as the Speaker.

The seminar focused on the importance of English language proficiency in academic life, professional development, and career preparation. The speaker discussed practical ways for students to improve their English communication skills and highlighted how effective language skills can create greater opportunities in higher education and the professional world.

Students from various departments of the university participated in the seminar along with faculty members and senior administrative staff. The interactive session provided students with valuable insights and practical guidance on developing their confidence in English communication and using the language effectively in their academic and professional journeys.

The seminar was organized as part of the Career Counselling Center’s ongoing initiatives to equip students with essential skills and prepare them for successful academic and professional careers.
