WUB Holds “AI Bootcamp for University Students”

With the aim of equipping students with practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, the Career Counselling Center of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) hosted a workshop titled “AI Bootcamp for University Students: Mastering AI Tools for Learning, Research & Career” on October 06, 2026, at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Quamruzzaman, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, WUB, attended the program as the Chief Guest. Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh, was also present as the special guest. Dr. Md. Amran Hossen, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, delivered the welcome speech.

The main session was conducted by Afzal Hossain, Associate Professor, Department of CSE and Guest Faculty, WUB. He provided students with practical guidance on the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for learning, research, academic activities, and career preparation.

The speakers highlighted the growing importance of AI in education and professional life and emphasized the need for students to develop the skills to use AI tools responsibly, effectively, and productively. The session also encouraged students to explore AI as a tool for enhancing creativity, research capabilities, and professional development.
