WUB Dean Attends Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate Award Ceremony

Professor Dr. Selim Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies at World University of Bangladesh (WUB), attended the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) Certificate Award Ceremony as the Chief Guest at Hotel Bengal Canary Park in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The programme was organized by Lean Six Sigma Company Bangladesh in collaboration with Lean Six Sigma Company, the Netherlands. A total of 12 industry professionals received the prestigious Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification after successfully completing the required assessment.

Delivering the keynote address, Professor Ahmed highlighted the transformative role of Lean Six Sigma in improving industrial performance and contributing to national development. He emphasized the importance of adopting Lean Six Sigma methodologies across both manufacturing and service sectors to promote continuous improvement, enhance operational efficiency, increase productivity, and achieve sustainable organizational growth.

Following his address, Professor Ahmed presented certificates to the successful participants in recognition of their achievements and professional expertise.

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Mohammad Nahidul Islam, Managing Partner and Country Manager. The event highlighted the growing importance of Lean Six Sigma in strengthening professional competencies, promoting operational excellence, and supporting sustainable industrial development in Bangladesh.
