The Career Counselling Center
(CCC) of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) successfully organized a
motivational workshop titled "Academic Improvement: Pathway to Academic Excellence"
on 11
June 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.
The workshop was organized to
inspire students to overcome academic challenges and develop a clear roadmap
towards academic excellence. The session focused on encouraging students to
adopt effective learning strategies, improve study habits, maintain academic
discipline, and enhance their overall academic performance.
Professor Dr.
M. Nurul Islam, Pro Vice-Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, graced
the programme as the Chief Guest, while Professor Zaki Imam,
Registrar of the University, attended as the Special Guest. The
event was also attended by the Deans of various faculties, Heads of
Departments, faculty members, and senior university officials.
Addressing the participants, the
distinguished guests emphasized the importance of regular class attendance,
effective time management, continuous learning, and a disciplined academic
lifestyle. They encouraged students to remain committed to their educational
goals, view academic challenges as opportunities for growth, and pursue
excellence through dedication, perseverance, and consistent effort.
The workshop featured an interactive discussion session, where
students had the opportunity to share their academic concerns and receive
practical guidance and valuable advice from the speakers. The programme
concluded with a renewed commitment among the participants to strengthen their
academic performance and achieve greater success in their educational journey.
