Seminar on AI-Powered Language Learning Held at World University of Bangladesh

The Department of English, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) successfully organized an academic seminar titled ggg on 29 January 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

The seminar was honored by the presence of the Deans of all Faculties of WUB, with Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, WUB, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar, WUB, as the Special Guest.

The keynote address by Prof. Dr. Md. Maniruzzaman (Jahangirnagar University) focused on AI (Tools) Technology for EFL Learning, highlighting practical classroom applications and the responsible use of AI in language education.

The program also featured a guest talk on the ethical use of AI in academic writing by Sk Obaidullah, CEO of Research Hub Bangladesh.

Faculty members and students actively participated in the seminar, making it a meaningful academic initiative aligned with Quality Education (SDG 4).
