World University of Bangladesh (WUB)
successfully organized a two-day Orientation
and Training Program for newly enrolled students of the Summer’2025 semester on May 16th and 17th, 2025,
at the university auditorium.
The event was designed to welcome new students
and familiarize them with the university's academic environment, resources, and
support systems. Aimed at ensuring a smooth transition into university life,
the program featured a series of interactive sessions, departmental briefings,
campus tours, and motivational talks by faculty members and university
officials.
Prof.
Zaki Imam, Registrar, World University of Bangladesh, inaugurated
the program and addressed the freshers with an inspiring speech emphasizing the
values of discipline, innovation, and lifelong learning. Professor M. Moqbul Hossain,
Controller of Examinations; Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Joint Registrar (Jr.); Md.
Kamrul Hossain, Joint Registrar (Jr.); Maruf Ahmed, Deputy Registrar; Deans, Heads of Departments,
and senior faculty member also participated, offering guidance on academic
expectations, examination rules, and career-building opportunities.
The Orientation and Training Program reflected
WUB’s commitment to student success from day one and underscores the
university’s dedication to creating a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive
learning environment.
